The Island of Korcula, found along Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, is a quaint 20 miles long and 5 miles wide. It is often referred to as “Little Dubrovnik,” due to its similar squares, market streets, churches and palaces. It’s a popular summer destination amongst other islands such as Hvar and Brac. As part of the Venetian Empire, there is strong history with rumors that Marco Polo was born here.
