The ocean feeds my soul like no other place on earth; the rugged coastline is so beautiful yet inherently dangerous. Growing up in a landlocked city gave me an appreciation for the ocean that is nearly indescribable. I fell instantly in love with the colors, the tides, and the wildlife. I could sit and stare at the ocean for hours at a time - while everyone was swimming, playing, tanning, I would sit and stare into its depths. I feel the most connected when my feet are in the sand and I look out into the deep blue expanse.
